Has the micro SD card problem been fixed for Xperia phones?

I am thinking of buying the Z3, however I used to have the Xperia T and there was an issue with the micro SD cards in that the phone would wipe the data off the card and render it unusable. I've heard that Sony haven't fixed the problem, is this true
