This is the first time I couldn't find a solution on forums. Sorry if it's already here.
Since moving to 4.4.4 with a Cyanogen snapshot (11-20140916), music apps see only the first few music folders on my external SD. I tried lots of players including the Google one, but I always see the same few files. When I open ES Explorer, I can see and play everything.
I know my SD card is fully fonctionnal, and I'm aware of KitKat restrictions. I tried many SD scanning apps available on Play, but so far none solved my problem (including "SD Scanner" that freezes when the progress bar shows about 95% completion)
What I really don't understand is the fact that the first few folders alphabetically are always OK. 3 times I removed all my files, formatted and tried with different sets of folders. Always the same issue.
Do you have any ideas about that? What else could I try?
