Whenever I hit the internet button on my S5 it asks "welcome, to use wifi please select your internet provider." How do I delete or turn this off? The 5 providers they show I don't have.

Hello,

I've been getting the same message pop up every time my phone senses a wifi connection nearby. Most of the time, even if I try to hit one of the buttons, nothing happens. Every once in a while it wants me to then enter my user name and password for the service. It's really annoying- it just keeps coming up over and over again. It interferes with navigation, since it keeps covering the screen.

You ARE doing this where you know you have a wifi signal you can connect to (it's open or you have the password), right? If you're assuming that there's going to be a wifi signal wherever you are, there isn't, and you'll be getting problems like these where there's no signal, or where there are a number of open public signals that have to be logged into.

Has anyone figured out how to stop the choose wifi internet provider message from popping up?

I too am getting this "Message" and it is really annoying as H***. There has to be a way to turn this **** off.

The S5 doesn't do this natively - I'm starting to suspect a rogue app or malware.

Unless you're in an airport or other place where there's a choice of internet providers.

I get this too. I would love to kill this splash screen. It opens up whenever I'm out of range of a "saved" WiFi signal. None of the buttons load anything, and I've never used this screen to save a WiFi connection. You would expect Smart WiFi to just use 3G/4G when a saved network is out of range, or at the very least display some non-intrusive message that you're no longer connected to a saved network. Instead I get this popping up over and over again covering up SMS and other apps. Super annoying.
