Why are two notifications tones playing at the same time?

Additional notification tone active

Hi I have a Samsung S4 Mini, my daughter has somehow changed a setting somewhere, and now every time the phone gets an email or text, the usual notification tone plays but so does another tone (actually a phrase from google translate) it also plays it when taking a photo plugging charger in, when the alarm goes off etc

I have been into sounds and notification to no avail, hoping someone can help!!

Welcome to Android Central! It's actually speaking words to you? Are you sure it isn't something like TalkBack, the accessibility function that makes the device speak to the user (for the visually impaired)?

Hi

No the voice is a spanish phrase that was translated in google talk, it uses my wifes name so do not think it is the assist function

Go to your Email or Messaging app, tap Menu, then Settings, and look for the Notification option. See if you can play the tone that's set. Is it the regular tone, or is it the strange combination of the regular tone plus the Spanish phrase?
