Lost the green phone icon at the bottom of screen

[AC Question]

I just got this smart phone, AT&T avail 2 and somehow the little green icon that looks like a phone receiver is no longer at the bottom of my screen and I cannot find it anywhere so Icannot make a phone call. HELP!

Welcome to Android Central! Is this just on your homescreen, or in the phone dialer?

If it's the homescreen, then it's probably just the shortcut that you lost. Open the App Drawer, find the Phone or Dialer app, long-press it, then drag it back to the homescreen.
