How to transfer saved voice mails to my computer?

A

AC Question

My dad has alzheimers and all I have left of what he used to sound like and talk like is saved on my cell phone in voicemail. They are at risk of being deleted every 20 days. Verizon has said it's possible but no one can tell me how to transfer them to my computer. Any help would be appreciated, or a plan B. Thanks, LuAnn

Many moons ago I did that by going to the Verizon website on a PC and downloading my voicemails from there. I don't remember exactly how I did it step by step, though.

Use a recorder app that records phone calls (or the record button on your phone if your phone app has one, or has been modified to). Call your voice mail and listen to the calls. They'll save as a file (or files, if you stop the recording at the end of the message and start it again for the next one). Then you'll have the files on your phone to do what you like with them.
