My Galaxy 4 has gallery photo edit, but galaxy lite doesn't?

[AC Question]

I have Samsung Galaxy S4 my gf has Samsung Galaxy Light. On my phone i can bring up a picture through gallery and click edit and have some nice options. this isn't available on her phone. At first i thought this was some app or plugin i had installed but now i'm thinking it's just an OS difference possibly just due to HW difference.
Any info on this is appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably a difference in the preinstalled software. The S4 is a premium phone, so it probably has more features installed. The Google+ Photos app has some decent photo editing features.
