how to remove a tone that is "stuck" on my clock on galaxy s5

I downloaded a tone to my clock that was not usable...now I can't remove it ?

Welcome to AC
So you downloaded a ringtone for your alarm clock?
Go to your app drawer and look for the "Downloads" app. Do you see the downloaded tone?

Use a file manager (ES File Explorer, Total Commander, etc.) Go to Notifications on the sdcard. (Not the extSdCard.) Find the file for that tone. Delete it. Go to the clock and you should be able to change the tone. If not, restart the phone (long-press the power button/Restart) and try again.
