AC Question

HELP!!! I have just made a massive mistake! I disabled my Samsung Galaxy Trend's default messaging app and cannot get it back. I have tried absolutely everything. I can't receive any messages at all. If you're wondering, yes I did click on the disable button despite the warning message. I thought it would only disable the notifications. I have tried finding it in the app manager but it isn't therr. s there any way to avoid a backup and reset? I'm not even sure that would restore the app...?
Please help me out on this one, I'm waiting for important messages.

Welcome to Android Central! If you can't find it in the App Manager, then tap the Menu button while in the App Manager, and tap Reset All App Preferences. This clears all app defaults, and also reenables all disabled apps.

Are you sure you're in the App Manager (Settings>Application Manager)? It sounds like you might be in the App Drawer, which is just the list of all apps you have installed. The Application Manager allows you to Clear Data, Clear Cache, Force Stop, etc.
