I dropped my phone today and the screen just went black. When people call me, it still rings but I cannot pick up cause there is nothing on the screen

I ordered an iphone tomorrow (yeah, sorry..) but i wanted to check if i could still save my contacts.

every sync application that i looked at requires me to do something on the phone. could i just get my files when i plug the phone to my computer?

is this possible or am i pushing my luck?

You should say what carrier you have. Verizon probably has things backuped in either Backup Assistance, Cloud or your Gmail had your contacts. On new iPhone, download Backup Assistant, and/or Gmail account to get contacts from Android. As last resort, if your Developers Portions had USB Debugging on, your contacts could be transferred to iPhone on the Cellbrite machine at Verizon.
