I just switched from a Stratosphere to an S4. I re-downloaded all the games I had on the Stratosphere that didn't automatically download from Google Play, just as I originally had. Now, games have ads, even to the point of not being able to see the whole screen on some. Is there anything I can do, short of buying the games? For instance, on 250+ Solitaire, every time I finish a game, a full page ad pops up for another game for me to play/download. It's past annoying.

Welcome to Android Central! Game developers need to get revenue somehow--for most of them, this is a job. So they get ad revenue. This has been common for quite some time, although nowadays, everyone is shifting toward in-app purchases (which I personally hate).

If you don't like the ads, pay the buck or two that they're asking for. It costs less than your average Starbucks cup of coffee!
