Why do videos in my cell not appear in my laptop screen when I connect my cell to my laptop?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3. I'm running out of space, so I want to transfer my videos to my laptop. When I connect my cell to my laptop with a USB cable, I open my phone in my desktop. I can see all the pictures but not the videos. Where should I look for the videos?

Welcome to Android Central! Are these videos you took with the camera, or videos you downloaded from the web or some other app? Do you know if the videos are on Internal Storage, or on the external SD card?
