Why has wireless charging killed my Samsung S5 battery?

Why after Wireless charging My Samsung S5 it never came on again.

I bought My Samsung Galaxy S5 in June this year. A month later I could not charge the battery on the phone. I purchased a spare battery and battery charge and charged externally. Worried that I might damage the cover opening and closing, I bought a genuine Samsung back cover with charging contacts and a Samsung wireless Charger. The first time I used the wireless charger to charge my phone it recognised the wireless charging but in a matter of 10 minutes my turned off and will not come on, no matter what I do. It has gone comletely dead.Help, I luv my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Considering that your first battery died quickly without the wireless charger, I wouldn't suspect wireless charging to be the culprit here. It sounds more like there's a problem with the phone. Contact Samsung for warranty work.

Also try the original cover and plug it in through usb to see if it will come on while plugged in that way. Could be the new cover is faulty
