How can I activate an unlocked phone in the US?

how to activate an unlocked phone in USA

I bought in USA an unlocked galaxy S5, international version. I need to activate it in USA and have 5 minutes use of the phone.
How do I di that, and where do I get the activation kit + minimal pre-paid sim for minimum air time. After doing that the phone will be used in anither country

Well, there's no 'activation kit' per se, but any SIM card from any supported carrier would do. Even if you go to a store you might get lucky and get a store rep or even a friend to lend you their SIM, pop it in, call someone for a few minutes and done.

Or you can get a cheap pre-paid card, but the SIM card alone can cost 10 to 15 bucks. I'd rather just ask someone for theirs.
