Why am I getting LOG files instead of JPG and MP3 files?

Sometime after the 4th of July I started getting LOG files in place of JPG files and MP3 files (using Voice Recorder). Before this happened, I could drag and drop JPG and MP3 files from my Galaxy S3 into Windows Explorer folders. My last update was June 28, 2014, from SCH-I535_NC1 to SCH-I535_NE1. I have Android version 4.4.2. I can't use these LOG files, I want my former JPG and MP3 files back! Or, what settings might I have wrong that would cause this anomaly?

Hello. Welcome to Android Central. I haven't heard of this problem. It seems a bit odd. Will the Voice Recorder app still play these files? Have you tried playing the files with something like MX Player? It could also be that the files might have some sort of corruption.
