I've rooted my Moto G (2014) as I have apps that require root. I've froze some system apps but not removed any. Now I have the OTA update waiting to be installed, but unsure how to proceed. I've read the phone must be put back to stock before updating, or it could result in boot loop.
I've also read it can be updated whilst rooted as long as system apps remain untouched. So looking for clarification from those who know for sure how to proceed.
Does anyone know the exact procedure to follow to install the OTA update on a rooted Moto G (2014) and not risk any problems?
