synchronizing with windows

Hi

Im a long time iPhone user and I'm considering in switching phones that will synchronize better with windows 7. (contacts, calendar, email) I was considering the new HTC One M8 but just not sure if I should go with a Android phone or Window phone.

Re: synchronizing with windows

Welcome to Android Central! How invested are you in the Windows ecosystem? There are ways to sync Outlook data to Android devices, but to be honest, none of the various sync methods or apps are perfect. It's ideal to shift most everything over to the Google ecosystem--i.e., move all of your contacts to Google Contacts (https://support.office.com/en-US/Ar...bfa-b603-11a3bcfcd892?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US) and your events to Google Calendar (https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/83126?hl=en). This also give the added security and convenience of having all of that information in the cloud, easily accessible from any browser or device. Email shouldn't be a problem with the stock Email app, so there's no need to migrate that.

If you really prefer to keep everything in the Windows ecosystem, then I'd suggest looking at a Windows Phone, since the integration will be much more seamless. Good luck!
