I have a Google Nexus 5 with KitKat 4.4.4. I used to be able to send an SMS message to multiple recipients in the Hangout app by clicking on an "Anyone else" button to add more recipients, but the button is not there now. Is there a setting or something that I need to change?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps>All, select Hangouts, and Clear Cache. If that doesn't help, you could try Clear Data as well, although I'm not sure if that will delete any saved messages.

Next step would be a cache partition wipe. It can take up to 10 minutes to finish on a Nexus 5. http://forums.androidcentral.com/nex...-recovery.html

I have same problem. But if I set to send from my carrier number, not Google Voice or Smart reply, the "anyone else?" button is back.
