Why am I no longer able to delet bookmarks with Android 4.4.4?

Deleting bookmarks with Android 4.4.4 no longer works.

I have a Note 3 (on Sprint network). After letting 4.4.4 install, I can no longer delete ANY bookmarks in the built-in browser, not even the ones I have added. To make matters worse, the 4.4.4 update created a slew of other bookmarks, so now I have a ton of crap in my bookmarks.

Finding "Delete" is easy enough in the Bookmarks Settings, and the Delete Bookmarks screen shows boxes next to each bookmark to indicate selected, but nothing I do will check the bookmark: single-tap, long-hold, double-tap - ugh.

I am certain this was not an issue prior to 4.4.4.

I don't (and won't) use 4.4.4, so I can't give you a definitive answer, but I never use the default browser anyway (it's a poor excuse for a browser). Try using Opera, Firefox, Next, Maxthon or any of half a dozen other good browsers.
