Help - HTC One Lock Screen

Hello.

I've just recently updated my phone, HTC ONE. Now, when I go to unlock the phone by swiping it up, it gives says 'type password to unlock' in a white box, below is a 'w' symbol with a small triangle allow, then a voice control button then a 's' symbol. I'm confused to why there is no word box and now I can't access my phone??

I am honestly not sure. Have you tried contacting HTC to see what they suggest? Perhaps even your carrier has a support center that you can take it to?
