I recently cracked my screen and I guess my digitizer is broken. Only a quarter of my screen is working so i can't even put my password in. I'm a broke college student and I can't afford to pay $100 to repair the screen. Can a y-split usb otg possibly be my solution? Not rooted, can't change settings. Please help!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you just trying to recover the data on your phone? Or do you somehow want to keep using the phone, even though the screen so damaged?

If you want to try recovering photos and files, try this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/gen...ed-screen.html

OTG with a plain old wired USB mouse. Or a Bluetooth mouse without OTG. It will work until you can get the phone fixed. (A "wireless mouse" of the Microsoft or Logitech variety needs a driver running in the computer to work, so it won't work if you just plug the little receiver into the OTG connector.)
