Galaxy S4 camera got stuck and i lost my video

Hello....yesterday i was recording a 720p video using my phone. I recorded it for nearly 30 minutes, more than 900 MB and suddenly the camera got stuck. After some time the camera restarted and my video was lost. It was a very valuable video for me and my all efforts were in vain. People spend more money to buy flagship devices like this and they really don't want to face these kind of problems from a phone like Samsung Galaxy S4. I am really upset.

Is there any way to recover my video?

Re: Galaxy S4 camera got stuck and i lost my video

Welcome to Android Central! Was the video saving to Internal Storage or external SD card? If the latter, unmount the card (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and insert it into your computer. Use the computer's file explorer to look for a LOST.DIR folder, and see if there is anything there about the right size for a video. Try renaming it to add ".mpg" at the end, and then see if it will play using a media player.

You could also try programs like DiskDigger or PhotoRec to try to recover lost files.
