    If he's getting your SMS messages (which are device specific)... the first thing I'd do is factory reset the phone if I couldn't identify what was installed that's spying on your device. If he's simply seeing your email, facebooks, and other services that aren't necessarily device specific... then you probably just need to change all your passwords and then thump him on the forehead for logging into your services.

    Before factory resetting, start the phone in safe mode. (Google it for your specific phone model.) That starts the phone without any apps installed since it came out of the box. It's the same as a factory reset, but it's a one-time thing. If that's not the problem, you haven't lost any of your data - the next time you restart the phone, it's back to normal.

    If you have both phones using the same gmail address, both phones will get the email (and other things) related to that address.
