Why does my text messaging have random conversations popping up?

My text messaging keeps popping up random conversations that appear with no subject. I am not texting these people, but conversations keep popping up. I have gotten up to sixty conversations to pop up, and I can't delete them. They just keep coming. I don't know what is going on. Someone please help!!
