On my Samsung 1467 Galaxy8 Tab, why am I repeatedly told to install adobe flash?

Amazon.com and other websites tell me to install or upgrade adobe flash player. I click on download and my tab informs me its downloaded, but I can't open or find adobe flash player

Websites that have flash content won't show on the device. Also, Android no longer supports flash. The alternative is to use an alternative web browser, such as Dolphin, which I believe still does support it.

Or go to Flash Player 4.x, download the latest Flash Player and run the app. That way, even apps that aren't web browsers, that need Flash, will work.
