Why am I having a problem with the IMEI Barred on my Samsung Gt-i9000 (aka Galaxy S)?

I have a problem of IMEI Barred on samsung Gt-i9000 (aka Galaxy S).

I've checked some sites and they say it can be fixed when it is showing IMEI null/null but my phone is showing nothing under that IMEI panel and phone is in Flight mode and i toggled the Flight mode, it is not on neither off and under service menu it is showing no option but a blank screen... PLZ help

That's what null means.

Sounds like corrupted firmware. Take it to your carrier and see if they know the easiest way to fix it (a reflash may allow you to get to the screen to re-enter the IMEI).
