LG Optimus touchscreen not responding. What can I do?

LG Optimus Net L45C touchscreen not responding!!

I have had my phone for about maybe 2 weeks, I was shopping and then my phone was dying so I had to go outside to try to charge my phone. I couldn't charge my phone for various reasons and so I tried to unlock my cellphone. My touchscreen wasn't responding, I tried taking out the battery and then putting it back in and powering the phone back on. It only worked for a second I tried calibrating it but had no luck. I'm trying other troubleshooting techniques and none of them have worked so far. If you have any ideas on how to get my phone to work again please comment!

Welcome to Android Central! The digitizer might be failing. Since it's new, bring it back to the store (that is, if you bought it new there). Otherwise, contact LG for warranty work.
