After I replaced the Digitizer in my LG 2g phone all I have is a grey fuzzy screen, did I do something wrong?

i replaced the digitizer in my lg 2g phone but now all i have is a grey fuzzy screen

the digitizer was bought new but had bad scratches on mirrored surface some times the screen tries to clear up but the comes out all jumbled up and is un readable

Welcome to Android Central! Either you damaged the screen during the replacement or a connection got loose.
