Whenever the phone feels like shutting off it does. Tried battery spin test that is not the issue. I have plenty of storage and no liquid damage. Phone has been in case since purchase almost been 2 years.

Welcome to Android Central! Be aware that a failing battery doesn't always have to bulge in the middle. So if it spins, then you know it's failing--but if it doesn't spin, you can't rule it out. It may still be worth trying a new battery (or perhaps borrowing a friend's battery).

Do you have an SD card inserted? If the card is corrupt, it can cause problems. Try unmounting the card (in Settings>Storage), removing it, and rebooting.

Another thing to try is to boot into Recovery Mode and wipe the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sam...2-s3-tab2.html
