How do I answer a call or turn my alarm off with just a tap and not a tap then slide?

I stumbled across how to do this with my first Galaxy S4, but can't figure out how I did it in order to change it on my second one. It's very annoying having to tap and slide when answering a call or trying to turn an alarm off, especially if the phone is at a funny angle in my purse or pocket. I know it's probably meant to be some kind of safety net, especially with the alarm- you have to be pretty awake to tap and slide rather than just tap. Regardless, I just want to be able to tap only.

Please please tell me you found it? I just got a new Note 3 after one broke and I had changed that phone to the one tap answer/snooze on that phone a d CA. It find it anywhere on this one! Hate the slide answer!!!
