Why does my Razr sometimes goes up to 100 CPU for up to 3 minutes when I turn on the screen?

Razr sometimes goes 100% CPU for up to 3 minutes when I turn on screen.

It is never obvious when it will happen or why. Either on Wifi or with Wifi off. Sometimes I can't even answer a phone call the CPUs are so busy. If I try to start an app like maps, it can take 1 or 2 minutes before it shows anything on the screen other than an all white or all black screen.

Check your battery stats and see what you have running. If it's using a lot of CPU, it's probably also using a lot of battery. It's probably some rogue app, although a corrupted app could do it, so can a virus scanner .running for the first time.
