Why is my Verizon S5 receiving a Validation error?

Verizon s5 Validation error

Hi , I live in brazil so I dont use a verizon SIM card , and my device is a verizon s5... When I try to turn on mobile hotspot my device says "Validation Error" and turns the mobile hotspot off, can anyone help me?

I believe that you may need a new SIM card for the mobile hotspot to work.
