Welcome to Android Central! Is it a photo saved to your Google+/Picasa cloud album that is showing up in your Gallery? If so, open the Photos app (the one with the pinwheel icon), find the photo, and delete it there. Google+ cloud photos can be deleted in the Photos app, but not necessarily in the Gallery app. The other thing you can do is go to your Google+ Photos website on your computer browser and delete the photo there.

If it still shows in your Gallery, then go to your App Manager, select Gallery, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. When you open Gallery again, the database will repopulate, this time without that cloud photo.
