Why do I continue to see the voice mail indication on my phone?

continue seeing voice mail indication

Voice mail prompt appears even though there is no new message.
After restarting the phone voice mail appears again but now with updated time corresponding to when the phone was turned back on. Help!

Welcome to the forums. Try pulling down the notification shade, and longpressing the notification. Click the app info button that appears, and click clear cache. See if that helps.

You can also dial into your voicemail, and turn off the voicemail notification, and turn it back on. That can also clear this up.
