How can I get the photos off of a broken LG G2?

The screen broke on a colleagues LG G2. The whole thing is visible, but the touch sensor only works on about the bottom quarter. She really just wants to get her pictures off of the thing. Nothing pops up when it is connected to a Windows 7 PC. When I connected it to a Mac, the phone displayed the select USB connection method, but with the screen issue, I can't select MTP or PTP. Please help!

Thanks so much. It worked great. Changed the settings and got the pictures off. I'm glad I bought an OTG cable a while back!
