Why can't I get past the Jelly Bean 4.1 screen?

I have an ICRAIG Netbook 4.1 and when i turn it on it stays on the Jelly Bean 4.1 screen and the top left corner says "boot into recovery mode" in red print. Then it goes to an android symbol laying down with a red triangle symbol over it.

Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model name/number? This is happening when you press the power button in a normal way to power on the device? It usually requires a special button press combination to reach the bootloader. When you see the android lying on its back, it's waiting for another button-press combination to get to the actual Recovery menu. If the device has volume buttons, see what happens if you press and hold the Volume Up button, then while keeping Vol Up pressed, tap the Power button. If that doesn't work, try the same process with the Volume Down button.
