My brookstone roll up keyboard is dead

[AC Question]

My brookstone roll up keyboard is dead and I don't know if I leave it turned on charging or turn it off because when I turn it off and try to charge it the charging light turns off

Welcome to Android Central! I'd just turn it off and charge it up overnight. Then turn it on again in the morning and see if it works normally.
