Why is my Wi Fi disconecting

Hi, so ive got a prestigio tablet with android 4.2 an i have it conected to my home network. When the tablet doesnt use wi fi, it disconects with ny network, gives a notification that new networks are available and then connects back to the hone network. It does it like every 5 mins and its very anoying. The problem isnt my router couse i can be sitting right next to it but it still does it. Please help

Don't know your specific tablet, but try Settings-WiFi-Advanced, and uncheck the notifications and continuous scanning options.

Thank you, didnt actually see the advanced setting and it was uncheked keep the conection while sleepin, so i checked it and know it works fine. Thx for the help

Keep the WiFi Always On during sleep. This is anti-intuitive, but it uses less battery. Without the continuous connection to your home network, your phone keeps searching for a better deal.

Yes, I said it was previously off but I turned it on and it fixed my problem
