Why won't my Samsung Galaxy Centura turn on?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Centura that will not turn on.

My battery was fully charged when a shut off. Tried to turn phone on to make a call but would not activate. strange? Does it need a reset? How would I reset this phone?

It does nothing at all? Or it starts to turn on then hangs? Or what - exactly?

If it does nothing at all it could be a bad power switch (they cost about 5 cents - it's amazing that they keep working so long), the battery suddenly went bad or something inside the phone - maybe on the motherboard - went bad.

Unless you can get some reaction from the phone, it's almost impossible to diagnose the problem without actually having the phone.
