Why ins't my sim card working after I put it in an unlocked phone then back into mine?

i tried my sim-card in an unlocked phone. when i put it back in my phone it is not woking

I can neither use my data nor call.

Have you checked to see if your APN Settings are correct?

Two ideas. 1) The card may have gotten physically damaged. (Something caught one of the contacts and tore/bent/scrtched it.) 2) Ask at your carrier's store for assitance. Most carrirs replace bad SIM cards with no charge.
