How do I set a personal vibrate pattern for calls and emails

I have a Galaxy Note 4. I would like to set the phone to vibrate to a personal pattern when receiving an email or phone call. I have set the phone to vibrate and set a personal pattern. However, when I receive a call or email, all I get is the single vibrate and not my personal pattern. What am I missing?
