Why does my Samsung Galaxy S4 screen flashes?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. It's got a problem with the screen. The screen comes on when it's locked. My keyboard flashes off. While I am using my phone, the black screen with the clock comes up (its the screen that is suppose to come up with the S-View cover). It's gone in 4 times for repairs. But the problem is still there. Every single time I send it in. The problem does not come up in front of them. But when I get it back, it starts again withing 24hrs. I really have no idea what to do with my phone anymore. Can someone plz help me. It's driving me crazy.

Manufacturers look to not have the problem occur when they're "fixing" the phone. I suspect that the sensor that senses the cover being closed is intermittent, (It's a cheap piece of hardware, but the labor to replace it isn't.) Depending on your carrier, you might be able to get the phone replaced. (They normally don't replace parts at the store.) Make sure that everything important is backed up.
