Why is wifi calling on my Galaxy Note 4 so terrible?

Wi-Fi calling on Galaxy Note 4

I have Wi-Fi calling turned on; the Router is sitting in the same room as I and the Modem is also in the same room. Wi-Fi connection is very strong. Router/modem is from Comcast. The telephone conversation is terrible, A lot of break ups, pops, static and feed back. Anybody else have the same problem? Can it be solved?

Reset the router and see if there is an improvement with the call quality.

Go to VoIP Speed Test measuring Bandwidth, Jitter and Packet Loss and run the test. The Summary tab will tell you what problems you have, if any. They're between the modem and the world - nothing you can do about it except change carriers or complain to Comcast (for all the good that will do).
