Is it possible to connect to a subscription WiFi service (one where you sign in each time you use it) and then broadcast that network from your phone. I can tether from my phone using my own mobile network, but I want to broadcast this WiFi service instead. Is it possible?

Moto G - Android KitKat

I've just wasted 3 hours trying to root my phone! Moto G 4G 1st Gen. I couldn't even get past the first step of unlocking the bootloader. Unbelievably annoying and I was close to throwing my laptop out the window. Most instructions are for PC rather than Mac and it just wouldn't work. I'm not coming from a completely novice point, either. fastboot oem etc. just wouldn't work. So frustrated!

Towel Root It's an app, so you don't need a computer to root. (If it can't root the Moto G 1, it'll just tell you and quit, it won't cause any problems.) No unlocking anything either.

I managed to finally do it. It seems Yosemite changes things in terminal and you have to write ./ before some things to make it work. Nightmare!

Finally rooted it, finally installed fqrouter2....and the WiFi repeater won't work. Absolutely gutted.

Anything not in the executable path. It means "this folder". It's standard *nix, which MacOS is a derivative of.

Too bad - it sounded like a nice idea. Maybe email the developer with the details - phone, version of Android, etc.?
