Videos delete when auto-sync between Gallery and Google+

I have successfully auto-synced all my photos/videos from Android Gallery to my Google+ account to free up storage space on my HTC One. When I delete a video from the Gallery App, it also disappears from my Google+ account as well...however, this doesn't happen when I delete a photo from my gallery though, as it remains in Google+. Am I doing something wrong here - why are the videos deleted and not the photos??

That is strange. I don't think I have had that happen to me though. But I don't take that many videos.
