Do I have to allow 3rd party apps to change APN on Android 4.0?

allow 3rd party aps to change APN on Android 4.0

Does anyone know a workaround for this? I am trying to delete a default APN because it is an unlocked phone and when I manually input the new APN, anytime it is restarted it deletes the new APN and goes back to the default. Thanks in advance. The phone is an S4 mini. Thanks

Try adding the new APN, then selecting that as the default.

and how do you select as default? as I don't see that option anywhere om my LG G3??

Press the dot (radio button) at the right end of the line of the one you want as the default one.
