Music on Samsung S5

Hi all, I have a Samsung s5 - I've purchased a song on Google play and this song is not appearing in any other apps.
I've downloaded it and tried other things but when trying to find it in folders or ringtone maker it is not showing up??
I also work for long periods away from any phone reception, will these songs be available offline? And why does it need WiFi to download music where the iPhone didnt?

Welcome to Android Central! Downloading a song directly from the Google Play Music app is intended for the Play Music app only--other music apps can't see it. You would have to download the mp3 file on your computer browser (from your Google Play Music library website), then transfer the mp3 to your phone via USB connection.
