Why does my Droid Turbo keep powering on and off?

Droid Turbo keeps powering on and off

I tried to play a radio app today but there was no sound. No worries as this has happened before so I powered it off and back on again. Only now it won't come back on completely. It turns of up to the homescreen which stays on for a second or two and then powers off by itself and then repeats over and over. I tied powering on in safe mode and back to factory settings but it still didn't help. This is the new Droid Turbo 64GB with Nylon back

A faulty power button, possibly? A bad SD card, if you're using an SD card?

Are you still in time to return it?
I would do that instead of looking for an answer since it could be a factory defect.

Welcome to Android Central! I agree with Stargate. Don't waste more time with trying to figure it out--it just shouldn't do that, especially if it's brand new.
