PrivateInternetAccess gave me an APK of their recent version configured for Lollipop and I don't know how to install on Nexus 4 running Lollipop.

To install any apk file, first you have to go to Settings>Security, and make sure "Unknown Sources" is checked on. Then go to the Downloads app (if that's where the apk file is), and tap on the apk file, which will start its installation. If it's in a different folder, use a file manager app like ES File Explorer or Total Commander to locate the apk file and open it.

1.Go to Settings -> General -> Security, make sure the "Unknown Sources" is checked on.
2.Copy the .apk file which you have gotten to your Nexus 4, then tap on the .apk file. This will start its installation.
