    It could be a faulty USB port on the device, or a faulty battery, or a fault deeper inside the device.

    Plug the wall charger in. (USB charging gices you about half the charge that you get from a wall charger.) Leave the tab charging for 24 hours. If you get any signs of life after that, let it run until it tells you to charge it, then turn it off and plug it in for another 24 hours.

    Whether that brings you any life or not, it's clear that you're going to need a new battery - if not now then probably before Christmas.
